MISSION
The Row River Valley Community Partnership brings neighbors together to build connected, safe, and resilient communities through education, prevention, and preparedness. We strengthen local capacity for emergency response and long-term recovery, while advancing programs that support health, stability, and quality of life across the Row River Valley, a rural Oregon community committed to opportunity for all residents, economic vitality, and environmental stewardship.
VISION
We envision a thriving Row River Valley where every neighbor, regardless of income or circumstance, has access to safety, opportunity, and a strong sense of belonging. Through collaboration, stewardship, and community-driven development, we aim to build a sustainable, self-reliant, and resilient future for generations to come.
ABOUT THE RRVCP
The Row River Valley Community Partnership (RRVCP) is a nonprofit organization serving the rural and economically underinvested Row River Valley in Lane County, Oregon. RRVCP strengthens community safety, preparedness, and quality of life through programs in emergency response, fire mitigation, and local development. Working closely with county, state, and federal partners, RRVCP builds capacity for long-term resilience and equitable access to resources, helping ensure that residents across varying incomes, abilities, ages, and life circumstances can participate in and benefit from community preparedness, safety, and recovery efforts.
STEPS TOWARD ACHIEVING OUR MISSION
1. Strengthen Community Engagement
We bring neighbors together through workshops, meetings, volunteer projects, and local events focused on wildfire prevention, safety, preparedness, and community connection. By strengthening relationships and encouraging neighbor-to-neighbor involvement, we help build a more connected, informed, and resilient Row River Valley where all residents have opportunities to participate in shaping a safer future for the community.
2. Enhance Emergency Preparedness and Response
We support volunteer training, preparedness education, emergency communications, and partnerships with emergency service providers to help the community respond effectively during wildfire, severe weather, utility outages, and other emergencies. We work to improve access to preparedness resources, emergency information, and support systems throughout the valley so residents are better prepared when disasters occur.

3. Promote Long-Term Resilience
We support programs that strengthen long-term community resilience, environmental stewardship, and quality of life throughout the valley. This includes wildfire mitigation, watershed protection, neighborhood support networks, health and wellness initiatives, and projects that improve preparedness, safety, and community connectedness. Together, we are working to create a stronger and more resilient Row River Valley for current and future generations.
4. Supporting Rural Aging in Place
We are committed to helping older adults remain safe, connected, and independent in the communities they helped build. Through neighbor-to-neighbor support, preparedness initiatives, accessibility improvements, practical local assistance, and community connection, we work to help rural residents age in place with dignity, safety, and support.

Our Commitment to Community
The Row River Valley Community Partnership is committed to strengthening a connected, resilient, and supportive community through preparedness, prevention, education, volunteerism, and neighbor-to-neighbor engagement. Rooted in the Row River Valley, our work reflects a deep appreciation for rural Oregon, its communities, forests, watersheds, and the spirit of neighbors helping neighbors during times of need.
We believe resilient communities are built when people care for one another and have opportunities to participate in shaping the future of the place they call home. In the Row River Valley, this includes supporting residents across varying backgrounds and life circumstances, including vulnerable, isolated, low-income, elderly, disabled, housing-insecure, and unhoused community members.
We support rural residents of all ages, including older adults and vulnerable neighbors who wish to remain safely and independently in their homes and community.
Through community partnerships, preparedness activities, environmental stewardship, and volunteer-driven efforts, we work to strengthen safety, resilience, connection, and opportunity throughout the Row River Valley while recognizing the enduring cultural heritage and stewardship of the Kalapuya people connected to this region.

Stewardship, Resilience, and Community Action
Row River Valley Community Partnership is committed to strengthening environmental stewardship through practical, community-based action. We support wildfire preparedness, watershed protection, responsible land stewardship, and long-term rural resilience through collaboration, volunteer engagement, and thoughtful planning practices.
We believe healthy communities and healthy landscapes are closely connected. Through partnerships with public agencies, watershed organizations, local residents, and volunteers, we work to protect forests, waterways, wildlife habitat, and the rural communities that depend on them.
Our organization is committed to transparency, ongoing learning, and measurable community involvement. In 2025 alone, volunteers contributed more than 2,000 hours toward mitigation, preparedness, cleanup, outreach, and stewardship activities throughout the Row River Valley.
We remain dedicated to fostering a culture of preparedness, stewardship, and shared responsibility that supports both environmental health and community wellbeing for future generations.
